I tell my babies things whether it's while they are sleeping and I whisper it into their ear or when we're driving in the car or just while we're playing. It's things that I want them to know, that I need them to hear. They are only 9 months so I know they have no idea what I'm saying but I feel better knowing that I told it to them.
So here are a few things that I want you two cuties to know...
1. Your Daddy is the best father there could ever be. He loves you both so much. I see it in little ways, like when he's laying you down to sleep I will peek at the video monitor and watch him kiss your foreheads.
It's in the way he feeds you your diner and he will scoop up the food and drop it a few times just so he gets just the perfect amount on the spoon.
He will tell you each that he loves you about 20 times within an hour. I think the love for you both is so overwhelming for him that he has to get the I love you's out so he doesn't burst!
2. Every moment away from you both is the longest minute possible. I feel bad every morning I leave you both to go to work. But my goal of a beautiful house for you both to grow up in and make wonderful memories keeps me motivated and helps me to know that I am making the right decision.
3. You are so loved by so many. Your families love you both to pieces. I see it in the way they interact with you both and in the way they are so happy when you two are around. You have wonderful people on both sides of the family that will love you both forever.
4. One day you two will be best friends just like Mommy is with her two brothers Uncle Jim and Uncle Loren. You two might fight and you might get terribly mad at each other but I hope you always come back to each other stronger than before. There will be no better best friend than each other.
5. Mommy and Daddy have always had to work so hard to get the things we want from life and I want you both to be the same way. Nothing comes easy my loves and the hard work you put in makes it that much better when you succeed. You will get to see all of your efforts pay off. This concept goes towards anything you want in life not just for things you want to be but ...Work, Relationships, Friendships, and anything that matters. I promise you that if you work hard and put in the effort that your outcome will be worth it all!
6. Cherish who you are. You are perfect. Whether you know it or not you are exactly how you were supposed to be. Your beliefs and your opinions make up you. Don't be afraid to be different, don't be worried about what anyone else is doing because by staying true to yourself you are setting yourself for happiness.
There are plenty more things I want you guys to know but those are just a few important ones. I love you both so much and I am so excited that I was chosen to be your Mommy. I'm not sure if I'm doing everything right but I sure do try. You two are my everything! XoXo!
